Happy to open the ‘News’ section of my brand new website.
Welcome; |

While introducing my website, I want to give credit where credit is due by citing several resources I used myself to build and customize my own website with Distill for R Markdown. |
After a first look to the Distill for R Markdown tutorial webpage, one of the most useful resources I used is the The Distillery, which contains a nice showcase that can be explored to find some inspiration, but also a great Tips & tricks section where there is several articles about the numerous ways to customize or add new features to Distill blog or website. |
Also, the blogs of Ella Kaye, Danielle Navarro, John Paul Helveston and Tom Mock are very helpful and contain much advice to improve the appearance and add several functionalities to Distill blog or website. |
Finally, it is possible to customize website’s content by adding icons and animals silhouette from internet libraries such as Font Awesome, Academicons and Phylopic or by embedding Altmetric and Dimension badges to your publication record. |
